About BAC2SURF

OWNER / DIRECTOR

Reese Barragar is originally from Malibu, California with experience among children and adults as a surf/snowboard instructor, camp counselor, water sports director and lifeguard.

After Reese graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz he started directing the surf programme at Fitness By The Sea in the Pacific Palisades during the US Summers. In 2003 Reese he traveled through Swiss Alps as a snowboard instructor for Viamonde Travel & Adventure and the Greek islands as water-sports trainer for Mylopotas Water Sports Center.

After arriving in New Zealand 2005, Reese soon fell in love with lifestyle, beaches and culture. In October 2006 Reese then launched Beachside Activities Club just in time for the first summer BAC2SURF programme in December/January.

Reese is a hands-on Director and is actively developing more programmes, such as BAC2SK8, BAC2SNOWBOARD and soon to come BAC2WAKEBOARD.  In between programmes he works as a successful commercial real estate broker for Barfoot & Thompson Commercial in Auckland.

STAFF

Bac2surf StaffBAC’s staff are composed of well-experienced and trained surfers,educators, lifeguards, sports instructors, and care givers to give our participants the safest and most exciting experience possible. Our staff adhere to strict standards of conduct so that they can be the best role models to your children.

BAC will also perform police checks on each staff member and is very selective during the hiring process.
